Hey People! I'm back!!
Church camp for 4 days, on the forth day (Wednesday), everyone went back except for a few of us who extended our stay.
Went to Bandar Baru, stayed in someone's villa. Stayed for 1 night.
(Thursday) In the morning, we headed off to the dog's farm. Training area.
Went to Lake Toba. The journey was like 3 hours. Found a hotel. Less than 500 sing for 4 rooms.
Took a ferry to Samosir Island. The island is like better than Singapore. So can you imagine how big the lake has to be for such an island to fit inside?!
Stayed there for 1 night.
(Friday) Next day we headed to medan city (3 hours of travelling). Reached there didn't do anything but rest.
At night, we met up with the medan people.
That was the day I rode a bike for the first time. And everyone laughed at me. :( Especially Tim. Idiot! Cause he rode for like 7-9 times liao. He travelled to Bali that time for exchange programme, so they all rode on bikes, not cars.
Intial plan was to ride bike from restaurant to play pool. But my mother being super scared, she only allowed us to ride bike back to hotel, then park bike there, take the van we rented to the place. Her reason was... take van then can chat. Wah liao. :(
So we parked the bikes at the hotel carpark. Wanted to take the lift to the lobby. But got stuck inside!! Suddenly the door didn't close, when it did, there was a loud 'boom' sound. We all got a shock. We were stuck for about 5 minutes? 9 people stuck in 1 lift that was meant for 15 people. When the door finally opened, the people asked if it's because overload. Then we were like no. 9 people only what. After that we decided to not use the lift in case. But one of the staff, who I think didn't know we just came out from the lift asked us to queue up for the lift. Haha. One of our friends said we just came out from there. We were queueing inside. Haha. Don't want to queue liao.
So that night was the first time I rode a bike and got stuck in the lift. What an experience! But I think kinda weird to ride bike with a guy. Hmm... All the drivers were guys. But good thing 1 couple married, the other drivers single, if not later girlfriend get wrong idea. Hahaha.
The next day (Saturday), we went to do some shopping, but cannot find anything much also. Cause all shopping centres, then no time to talk around also. I got a pair of shoes anyway. Yay! We came back at midnight. Had some action at Medan international airport.
Some bribery going on. Then we queued for 30 minutes or so. The indonesian in front of us waited even long, everyone in between us went through the 'express' way. So my father not happy, make noise, I didn't really see what happened cause I went to the toilet. My father actually saw the staff taking money. So he take pictures. Haha. Then say want to report etc. A lot of stuff lah. The manager asked if we would like to go first. Trying to solve the problem, so we won't report. But we refused, cause the guy in front of us waited damn long liao. So in the end, we managed to check in. But our CONFIRMED seats were given away lor. At first the lady (the one who accepted the bribe) said we didn't reserved any seats. Then my mother scolded her, cause my mother just confirm the night before only. Then make noise again. In the end they gave us row 5 and 6. Haha. instead of 20 something. Then the ticket arh.. is not like Singapore printed kind sia. It's handwritten!! I realised Indonesians like to write 9 like g like that. Everything handwritten and we had 8 people? Wah liao. Ancient system sia. Checking in also use ancient system. Check the people's name with a list of names, hard copy. Best lor. No wonder take so long.
Oh well...
Pictures are no Facebook. I lazy to upload here. :D
